What licenses, certifications, and training mean
A credential belongs to a named holder or, for a firm or laboratory, to that exact organization and scope. MoldList does not turn a course catalog into a badge on a person. Unknown expiry stays unknown. EPA does not certify mold inspectors, and “IEP” is a role description, not a certification MoldList awards.
CIRSx courses are separate
There is no generic “CIRSx certified” label on MoldList. These are different programs:
- MIR 101, Medically Important Remediation for Professionals. Display, when a named holder is established: “CIRSx MIR 101 training completed.” The public badge description is a learning award, not a license.
- MIA 101, Introduction to Medically Important Assessment. Display: “CIRSx MIA 101 course completed.” The current course page describes a certificate of completion.
- MIA 102, Deeper Exploration of Medically Important Assessment. Display: “CIRSx MIA 102 course completed.” It is not MIA 101 and it is not MIR 101.
A generic course page does not prove a named person finished the course. Shoemaker protocol training is also a separate fact. Taking a CIRSx course does not create that fact.
